Canoe Race

The Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft annually hosts the Piscataquis River Canoe Race on the last Saturday in April. It's one of our major fund raisers, with the proceeds going to local charities and public service. The race is nine miles in length, starting at King Cummings Park in Guilford and finishing opposite Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft. Although we include categories specifically designed for racing craft our race categories focus on recreational and family participation. All are welcome as participants or spectators.
